The journey begins with an individual arrival at Nice Airport, where the group meets before travelling into Liguria. The journey ends in Savona, from where you can continue your journey independently.

From pesto and olive oil to local wines, markets and traditional specialities, each experience offers a different way to discover the region and the people who shape its culinary heritage.
How physically demanding is this journey?
This is an easy-paced journey, but a reasonable level of fitness is required. You should be comfortable with some walking during town visits, culinary experiences and visits to local producers, including some uneven or cobbled streets. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
How much free time will I have?
The itinerary includes organised experiences as well as time to enjoy the destinations at your own pace. There is room to wander through historic towns, stop for a coffee or simply enjoy the atmosphere and coastal surroundings.

As we work with a variety of small, independent local businesses, however, we cannot guarantee that every dietary requirement can be accommodated in every situation.
Can I join this journey as a solo traveller?
Absolutely. Solo travellers are very welcome on all our journeys. You can either share a double room or, subject to availability, book a room for single use at the applicable supplement.
What kind of accommodation can I expect?
We stay in carefully selected small hotels in Alassio and Savona, chosen for their character, comfort and location. The accommodation allows us to stay close to the places we visit while enjoying a comfortable base throughout the journey.
